The first Alumni Weekend was a huge success. This year's event is in the planning stages. Not only will it be bigger and better, it will be held the same weekend as Homecoming, September 28-30, 2012. For more information, see ALUMNI WEEKEND area in green Menu bar above.

There are many LAHS Alumni for whom we do not have current addresses. Please help us locate them. Look over the linked list , arranged by graduating year. If you know any address information for any of the Alumni, please send it to us.

ELECTION DAY SPAGHETTI DINNER

The next Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Election Day, November 6, 2012 (General Election). Last April's Alumni Spaghetti Dinner served 259 people and added $1,488 to the scholarship fund!
2013 Spaghetti Dinners will be held on May 21 (Municipal Primary Election) and November 5 (Federal Offices). Mark your calendars and plan to attend!

The spaghetti dinners are the sole fund-raising activity for the Alumni Association. The proceeds are used to pay for projects for the high school and to send our annual newsletter to all LAHS grads. We can always use HELPING HANDS in the kitchen, dining area, and as greeters. Show up with apron in hand at 3:00 at the Middle School kitchen on Tuesday, November 6th, or later for clean-up. Everyone else can arrive with hearty appetites
from 5:00 to 7:00 (after voting of course!).

SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED:
This year's scholarship winners will be announced in about a month. A total of fourteen $1000 scholarships were awarded to 7 graduating seniors and 7 LAHS post-grads for 2011. Those seniors receiving the scholarships are: Crystal Erb, Michael Geise, Karyn Hosler, Jade Kerstetter, Disneyanna Ledda, Emily Lesher, and William VanPatter.
The seven graduate scholarships were awarded to: Jamie Eggleton '08, Laura Kerlin '08, Bethany Smith '08, Jared Smith '10, Nathaniel Vaji '10, Allison Zimmerer Rivera '03, and
Erin Zimmerer '00.
