* 2008 Distinguished Alumni Awards - To nominate a graduate of LAHS, write the name, address, and graduation year as well as a paragraph about why you feel this person deserves to be considered a Distinguished Alumnus and mail it to LAHS Alumni Association, P.O. Box 38, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Articles from newspapers or other publications may be included. Consideration is given to the candidate’s excellence in his/her chosen profession and to his/her service to the community or to humanity. Nominations need to be received no later that August 15, 2008.

* $19,000 in Scholarships Awarded in Spring, 2008 * - Ten $1,000.00 scholarships were awarded to members of the LAHS senior class. Those receiving the awards were: Shawn Baker, Kristen Berger, Jamie Eggleton, Chelsea Gill, Agatha Hall, Allison Housholder, Kellie Nebiker, Julia Permyashkin, Kate Reigle, and Nathaniel Vaji.
- The Association also awarded nine $1,000.00 scholarships to LAHS Alumni. The recipients were: Jennie Miller, class of 2007, Moravian College; Johanna Persing class of 2007 Gettysburg College; Josh Wagner, class of 2005, Marywood College; Matthew Mccarty, class of 2006, Rochester Institute of Technology; Drew Miller, class of 2006, East Stroudsburg University; Natalie Ranch, class of 2007, Wake Forest University; Abigail Glock, class of 2007, Penn State University; Kathryn Ruiz, class of 2005, Bucknell University; and Ashley Cunningham, class of 2005, St. Francis University.
